So far this off-season the Houston Texans have done nothing but lose players. DeMeco Ryans is gone; so is Mario Williams. One side of the offensive line is gone. You might think that it is only four players, but at least three of them were key players and the other was pretty darn good.

After watching all the subtraction, fans were finally able to see the team do a little addition. Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James will be joining the fold. The man has been a solid defender for the Cowboys since 2003. After backing up Dexter Coakley for a couple seasons he got it done as the starter notching five 100+ tackles seasons in a row. Were it not for the emergence of young Sean Lee last season he'd probably still be in Dallas.

He should fit in very well in Houston since he'll be playing in the same system that he thrived in in Dallas. It makes sense since he'll be playing for the same coach, Wade Phillips.

At 31 he may be beyond his best days as a starter. The Texans probably will not look to have him start anyway, but rather have him platoon with someone, much like he did last season in Dallas. His athleticism will definitely come in hand for a squad that will look to dominate again next season so that it can return to the post season.
